I sat in a XC90 R design and I swear I melted into that seat. Same with the V90, hell the one I sat in was brown with a beige interior. Not comfy like a recliner but just so perfectly supportive.

The 4Runner is really good, especially considering what it is, and that it’s a nearly 20 year old interior and the ergonomics are pretty good. But Volvo is just on a whole new level. I’d love to actually drive one.

I hate the halfway car/halfway suv seat height in every 4runner but the most recent. Causes my knees to ache in ways that running my Brittanys and over a decade in the Marine crotch don’t. Also, the current gen 4runner does not have a $40k+ car interior, Toyota can pound sand if they think they are getting 40 large out of me for the interior equivalent of a mid 90s shitbox Kia.

Had a ‘72 142 and an 80s 264 ... seats more comfortable than any Mercedes I’ve ever driven. The seats in my ‘97 SHO were close, but no cigar.

A 2013 Volvo XC70 is the most comfortable car I’ve ever been in. Eve my 1969 144 is amazingly comfy.
